Automate Zero Li‑ion. The motor that hides in the tube.
Rollease Acmeda’s 5V Zero Li-ion is a rechargeable roller-shade motor with the head inside the tube: no motor cap outside the fabric, the smallest light gap in its class, and 12 to 18 months between charges. Rolli fits it to most residential roller shades.

What this means for your home
No wiring and no electrician. The shade charges from a USB cable about once a year, or never if you add the 5V solar panel.
Zero head means the motor does not stick out past the fabric roll, so the light gap at the edge is the same as a manual shade. On a dual bracket the two rolls still line up.
One Rolli Remote runs up to 15 shades. The Pulse PRO hub adds the app, schedules, Alexa, Google and HomeKit.

Questions
Battery motors, answered
How long does the battery last between charges?
Rollease Acmeda states 12 to 18 months of typical use per charge for the 5V Li-ion range, about 500 cycles. Heavy or very tall shades cycle the motor harder and charge more often. The 5V solar panel keeps the battery topped up in most windows.
How do I charge it?
With the supplied cable through the motor’s micro-USB port; no custom charger. Rolli sets the charge port on the side you choose at order time.
Which one do I need?
Rolli sizes the motor from the fabric weight, width and drop. As a rule: Q 0.7 for small light-filtering shades, Q 1.1 for most windows up to 84 × 84 in, Q 2.0 for wide blackout or solar-screen shades. Larger than that moves to the 5V Li-ion Q6 and Q13.
Can an existing manual shade be upgraded?
Often. The Zero head’s bracket adaptors match the width of Rollease manual clutches, so a shade on a compatible tube and bracket can take the motor in the field.
Is it quiet?
The Q versions are the quiet build. Vendor figures run from about 34 dB (Q 0.7) to about 46 dB (Q 2.0), under a normal conversation.
What is the warranty?
Rollease Acmeda gives a 5-year limited warranty on battery motors. Rolli handles the claim.
