The Nursery Edit
The Nursery Edit · Blackout · Cordless · Installed by Rolli
Dark enough to nap. Soft enough to grow up in.
Nurseries and kids rooms in the shades and drapery Rolli makes and installs: blackout rollers behind linen drapery, cellular shades on small windows, Romans that read as fabric and go fully dark. Everything here is cordless or motorized, measured by the installer and fitted by Rolli.

Why the room still glows
Blackout fabric is the easy part. The edges are the job.
A blackout fabric stops light passing through the weave. Every blackout we sell does that. Close one at one in the afternoon and the room still glows, because the light is coming around the shade, down each side and across the top, not through it.
So the nursery decision is mostly about the mount. An outside mount that overlaps the frame by a couple of inches on each side kills most of the gap. Side channels on an inside mount kill the rest. Drapery over a blackout roller does both and makes the window look finished.
The fabric choice is then a design choice: a roller that disappears, a cellular that insulates, a Roman that reads as linen. All three go dark. Pick on texture and color, and let the installer set the mount.

The soft layer. Sheers by day, linen at night.
Drapery is the nursery product people underrate. A sheer takes the glare off a daytime room without closing it; a lined linen panel over a blackout roller covers the light gap and makes the window the warmest thing in the room. Rolli makes drapery like this to the measured drop, in the same fabrics, and hangs it.

How it works
Measured, made and installed before the due date
Consult
A designer visits with samples, or you order free samples online. Opacity, mount and controls decided at the window.
Measure
The installer measures every opening, sets inside or outside mount and notes side channels where the gap matters.
Make
Shades made to the measured size. Roller shades are ready 3 to 10 days after the measure; Romans and drapery take longer.
Install
Rolli installs, pairs the remotes and shows you the controls. Nothing to assemble, no cords left hanging.
