Automate tilt motors. Blinds that angle themselves.
A tilt motor turns the slats of a wood or faux-wood blind from a remote or a schedule. Rollease Acmeda makes two: Core Tilt and VT 0.6 Tilt, both battery powered, both in a low-profile 1½ × 2¼ in headrail. Rolli fits them to its faux wood blinds.

Tilt only: the blind still raises and lowers by hand. ARC two-way radio on both.
What this means for your home
Set the slats to the sun on a schedule: closed at the afternoon glare, open at dusk, from the same remote as the shades.
The motor hides in the headrail; the blind looks like a standard cordless-tilt blind.
Rolli recommends tilt motors for high or hard-to-reach blinds and for rooms where the blinds are adjusted several times a day.

Tilt motors, answered
Does the motor raise the blind too?
No. Core Tilt and VT tilt the slats only. Lifting stays manual, which keeps the headrail small and the battery life long.
How often does it charge?
Rollease does not publish a cycle count for the tilt motors. A tilt cycle draws far less than a lift, so charging is infrequent; the pack charges over USB like the shade motors.
Is there a VT 1.1?
The current Rollease catalog lists VT 0.6 Tilt; "VT 1.1" appears only in older documentation. Rolli stocks the current model.
