Tusk. The light, natural weave for calm rooms.
Tusk is Texstyle’s lightest roller fabric: 170 g/m² in light filtering, 360 g/m² in blackout with a color-matched back, in eight natural colorways from Whisper to Pepper. GREENGUARD Gold and OEKO-TEX certified with an EPD and HPD. A Rolli Select roller.

What this means for your home
Tusk reads as linen from across the room: an open, slubbed surface that softens light rather than blocking it. Rolli uses Tusk Whisper in its own bath shoots.
At 170 g/m² it is the lightest fabric Rolli rolls, so it suits the smallest motor and the narrowest tube, and it is the quietest to raise.
The blackout has a color-matched back, so the street side of the shade is Whisper, not white.

Tusk, answered
Is Tusk the same as linen?
No. It is 100% polyester woven to look like a natural fiber, so it is stable in humidity, washable and holds its color (light fastness 6 Blue Wool, the highest of the Texstyle residential rollers).
Can Tusk go in a bathroom?
Yes. Texstyle rates it for vacuuming and sponging with mild soap, and polyester does not absorb moisture. Rolli puts Tusk Whisper in wet rooms.
What is the openness of Tusk light filtering?
Texstyle states approximately 1%. Visible transmittance by color is not published; order a sample to judge the glow.
Is Tusk fire rated?
Texstyle does not publish a fire rating for the residential Tusk line. For projects that need NFPA 701, Rolli specifies Mesa or Kleenscreen.
