What this means for your home

Mesa is the Rolli roller for a project that needs paperwork: NFPA 701, ASTM E84 Class A, GREENGUARD Gold, an HPD and an EPD, all published by Texstyle.

The light-filtering weave absorbs sound (NRC 0.60), which is why Rolli puts it in home offices and open-plan rooms with hard floors.

Thirteen blackout colors against five light-filtering, so a two-opacity scheme runs through Dove White, Moonstone, Nougat, Quill or Ice Gray.

Questions

Mesa, answered

Is Mesa fire rated for commercial use?

Yes. Texstyle publishes NFPA 701 and ASTM E84 Class A for both opacities and CAN/ULC-S109 for the blackout.

What does NRC 0.60 mean?

Noise reduction coefficient: the light-filtering fabric absorbs about 60% of the sound energy that hits it across the speech range. It takes the edge off echo in a hard room; it is not soundproofing.

Why do two Mesa blackout weights appear?

Texstyle’s web page says 410 g/m² and 0.47 mm; its brochure says 430 g/m² and 0.55 mm. Rolli lists both until Texstyle confirms; neither changes the motor Rolli specifies.

What is Mesa Façade?

The blackout with a charcoal-gray back instead of white, for street-facing windows where the exterior view of the shade should be dark. Four colors; ask Rolli.
