How much do motorized shades cost? The line items, not a range.
A motorized roller shade is a shade plus a motor plus the control you choose. Rolli prices each part separately on the configurator, so the total is arithmetic. A single Sanctuary blackout at 36 × 48 in with an Automate 1.1 Nm motor and a 5-channel remote comes to $598 before tax; a room of four shares one remote.

The motor is the big line. On a $109 shade the Automate motor is 78% of the total, so motorize the windows you actually operate daily and leave chain on the rest.

The $99 Basics motor is the budget route. It pairs with its own remote, not with the Automate hub, so it suits a single room rather than a whole-house system.

The Zero Li-ion motor hides inside the tube with no exposed head, carries a 2,600 mAh battery rated for about 500 recharges, speaks a two-way radio that reports position and battery, and carries a 5-year warranty from Rollease Acmeda. It is the same motor fitted by national dealers. Rolli’s price includes fitting it to the tube, the bracket adaptors, the charging port on your chosen side and pairing to your remote before the shade ships.

Why is the Automate motor $389 when the shade is $109?
It is a sealed Li-ion motor with a hidden head, two-way radio and 5-year warranty, fitted and paired before shipping. See the specification on the Zero Li-ion page.
Do I need a hub?
No. A remote runs the shades. The $350 Pulse PRO adds the app, schedules and voice. Add it when you have three or more shades or want them on a timer.
What does installation cost?
Rolli quotes measure and install at the free consultation for the Austin area. Shades can also ship for self-install; the measure and install guides are free.
Is the 1.1 Nm or 2.0 Nm motor right for me?
1.1 Nm for most windows up to about 84 × 84 in; 2.0 Nm for wider or heavier shades. Rolli confirms it from the fabric weight and size when you order.
